		<description>Hey, Mikey, good stuff.  I&#039;m curious though about the whole teen idol thing.  Doesn&#039;t this date back to Sinatra and before?  Haven&#039;t we always had teen idols of one sort or another?

As for new sounds, the problem is the fragmentation.  If you do have a new sound and it&#039;s not formulaic enough to hit middle America, you don&#039;t get anywhere.  I hear musicians in coffee houses, parks and on self-released albums with new sounds all the time.  If they don&#039;t sound like Kellie or Carrie or Justin or Lil&#039; Wayne or whoever, they&#039;re not making it.
